Meet the Founder
Jodi Money, founder of Acorn Academy and 1mpactFULL, brings years of experience supporting children as an English teacher, substitute teacher, classroom aide, and camp counselor. With a strong background in reading and language arts, she understands how encouragement, creativity, and self-expression can help children grow.
She created Acorn Academy after recognizing that children’s positive actions can easily go unnoticed during busy days. The app gives children their own welcoming place to record those moments through writing or drawing, reflect on the difference they made, and receive positive encouragement.
Guided by Heidi the puppy, children plant an acorn for every action they record and watch their impact grow into a forest. Jodi’s vision is to help children build confidence, independence, compassion, and a lifelong understanding that even the smallest positive action matters.

Write it or Draw it
Children can write, draw, or do both to record positive deeds. Heidi’s prompts build reflection and communication.
Plant an Acorn
For every deed recorded, Heidi plants an acorn that grows into a sapling and oak, building the child’s impact forest.
Guidance From Heidi
Heidi asks thoughtful questions, offers word help, and gives positive, age-appropriate encouragement along the way.
A Healthy Daily Rhythm
After a deed is recorded and celebrated, Heidi naps and the session ends, encouraging children to return to real life.
